For Sale Rules & Guidelines. Please read before posting

1. Sellers must have at least 25 wood working related posts to create a listing here. "Lovely job" etc type of posts do not count as valued contributions.
2. The For Sale board is only for the disposal of surplus wood working tools and associated items. No DVDs, telescopes, vehicles, etc.
3. Wood working items/tools that are made or bought for the purpose of selling on the board are not permitted.
4. Items listed should be properly described and include a fixed price as well as a reasonably precise (within reason) location for collection or delivery purposes. Images are required.
5. Members may not promote or mention their own private sales or those that are currently on other sites such as eBay, FB Market Place, Gumtree or other sites of that commercial nature. Furthermore members should not mention that their item/s will be listed for sale on such sites in the event that their items fail to sell here.
6. Sellers cannot use this forum for any commercial or advertising purposes. On a one off basis, at the discretion of moderators, members may be able to list surplus items from a larger tool purchase.
7. This site does not accept responsibility for any issues that may arise through the sale or free offering of an item. As in any sale of this nature members are advised to take the usual precautions. Caveat emptor.
8. New members will not be able to send PM’s regarding posts in this section until their post count exceeds 3. If required reply directly in the thread.
9. Any posts that are seen as inappropriate or unsuitable will be removed. Unhelpful or critical replies to posts will not be tolerated.
10. Sellers may only bump their thread twice, any more and the thread will be locked or deleted.
11. If in doubt about posting on the For Sale board please consult a member of the moderating team.
12. The above rules and guidance may be amended at any time.

A few new members don't seem to have read or even glanced over the For Sale board rules and guidance.
The FS board was created as a bonus for members that have made valued contributions to the wood working boards not as a fee-less alternative to eBay etc.
If we see new posts that breach these rules they will be deleted and the member advised and possibly sanctioned.
