Lovely couple of pieces H. :D
Nice idea with the box,but also had the idea of the ring been used as Braclet.Could that be possible :?:
Love the Tea cup but the handle doesn't seem to be quite right, maybe the photo, but looks to be at an odd angle :?:
Great work all round though. =D>

The tea cup and saucer is superb - one day I hope to be able to turn something like that and WIP pictures?

Is it for sale?

Hi,

I love the cup and saucer, they both work very well together and look beautiful.

Is the cup useable or is it a purely decorative piece?

Nice work.

Cheers,

Lee.

The handle is fine Paul - just the pic.Can be worn as a bracelet on a small wrist. :)
Lee - the cup is not intended for use ,made as a decorative piece
Whacky - you have PM

I like both items, especially the box with ring, which is an interesting idea and looks nicely proportioned and finished. I think the contrasting timbers you have used look very appealing together.
Doesn`t the box-with-ring have a tendency to roll over, or does the low centre of gravity keep it upright?

Ian

Cup is 8 cm dia ,8cm height
Saucer is 14 cm dia

silverbirch - being a perfect round there is a tendency to roll over if tapped gently
I have created a barely perceptible flat at the base which keeps it upright
