Alcove units. Floating shelves

MR MDF
Finished with Morrels top coat. Farrow and Ball Whimbourne White colour match
5 piece doors
Concealed hinges, soft-close

Shelves
Battened on walls.
Piece on top and bottom glued and pinned.
Batton between at front
Face glued on

There are 3 in total but I forgot to take a picture of the 3rd. Will be removing the fire surround to sand and paint as well so will take more snaps then.

Nice job! A nice re take on the old style alcove shelving and cupboards.
I'll look out for new pics.

Cheers. I've not done too much different in terms of the alcove design. I'd like to do more face framed versions. Just have to look at cranked hinges and how they work in terms of the carcass and surrounding frame
