Hi all
My trusty clock has been working perfectly for a couple of months now but doesn`t seem to like the warm weather and keeps stopping  . I assume because its all made of wood then some expansion is happening to stop it?? To be fair the guy who sold me the plans warned that this can happen and it has been a bit hotter than usual. Have to wait for the cooler weather now

Hi Steve
thats the type of time machine I like...
in the cold weather time marches on at a steady rate...
In this glorious warm weather time slow down and I can soak up the rays..

Hi Steve,
It is the changes in humidity with wooden gears that cause this, and with the current weather it has been changing a lot just recently.

Hi strider,
I am currently doing this one.
http://www.lisaboyer.com/Claytonsite/tempopage.htm

I have found that if I spend to much time on a single piece I lose concentration and also have visual problems (could be due to my age).

I started with the easiest parts and progressed to the more difficult parts.

My advise is to take it slowly.

When I started I just wanted to get it finished now I just want to get it right.

Hi

That is a great clock design. I love the way that the chapter rings are part of the pendulum.

Awsome. Got any pics of your work?

Strider
